High and Low

I shot some photos in the garden the other day. All were snapped within a 10-foot radius of each other, although I shot half while looking down and the other half while looking up. The ‘down’ shots were taken in the middle of the afternoon and the ‘up’ shots were taken at sunset.

There’s no need to search high and low for beauty around here. It’s everywhere you look.

LOW

Tiny wildflower.

Spiral aloe.

Fern.

HIGH

A great photographer taught me to always have my camera handy after a late-afternoon thunderstorm in Johannesburg. You’re bound to see some good clouds.

They got even better as the sun started setting. The moon was a bonus.

A few minutes later with a slightly wider lens.

I’ve received a one-month reprieve from moving out of the Lucky 5 Star. That means one more month of stunning summer sunsets. Lucky, indeed.

I love the simplicity of the first shot. And I bet you didn’t know how to achieve that focus 2 years ago…… 🙂 Keep trusting, I’m sure you’re being looked after♥

Sometimes one can find a whole universe in only a square meter. You are doing so well.
