Instagram for Art’s Sake, installment #5.

I took three photos this morning, all within about 30 minutes of waking up. It was only later that I realized all three pictures portray the same substance.

I must have dreamed about glass last night.

This is not the most aesthetically pleasing Instagram photo I’ve ever taken. But it’s a photo of glasses, sitting behind glass, with a glass window reflected in the glass. So I had to include it.

My bathroom window. Technically the window is covered by burglar bars. But I don’t think of these beautiful metal objects as burglar bars. To me, they’re art.

I was skimming through my blog the other day and noticed that lately, I’ve veered from the subject matter that made 2Summers what it is. With the exception of a few posts here and there, I haven’t written about fun things to do in Jozi for weeks.

I guess that’s because I haven’t been doing many fun things lately. I haven’t been in the mood.

However, a long weekend looms and I’m feeling motivated to get out there. So if you’re getting bored with the artsy, reflective 2Summers, never fear. I think the happy-go-lucky 2Summers is about to make a comeback.
