Diepkloof, Soweto, on a Sunday

I’m really distracted right now, planning a mini out-of-town getaway this afternoon and a move to a new house (and a new neighborhood!) this weekend. My blog will soon be filled with news of these events, but in the meantime I’m experiencing a blogging malaise. I can’t seem to motivate myself to post much here right now.

In the meantime, as I try to claw myself out of this hole, here are some photos I took on Sunday in Diepkloof, Soweto (home of the fabulous Chilli Pepper). I’ve been helping out Thorsten and his colleague Tebogo on an architectural project in Diepkloof, shooting pictures there on an off. I really like how a few of the recent images turned out.

Hopefully I’ll return next week in a more rejuvenated state.

Great photos, good to have a mini breakaway before the heavy work of moving, all the best with the that..

Pretty much how I’m feeling about my daily bike ride right now – I rode virtually every day since first lock down, but these mornings just feel so very hard I’m starting to create all kinds of excuses.
