The Meiringspoort Pass on the N12 Highway just nor The Meiringspoort Pass on the N12 Highway just north of De Rust. Definitely one of the most beautiful passes I’ve driven through in South Africa (and I’ve driven a few). The road through the pass is fantastic, dotted with delightful little rest stops with nice bathrooms and succulent gardens. I don’t know why I didn’t take more pictures! #southafrica
It’s been such a crazy week of driving and explo It’s been such a crazy week of driving and exploring, I haven’t had time to post many photos from this road trip with my mom. We’re back now and here’s a quick photo dump from two days in Storms River on the Garden Route: 1) @jeaniehhi and some giant ferns; 2) Light filtering through the indigenous forest; 3) Glimpse of the Tsitsikamma Mountains from our Airbnb; 4) More pretty ferns; 5) Granadilla blossom. I finally made it to the famous suspension bridges I finally made it to the famous suspension bridges, which cross the Storms River mouth, at Tsitsikamma National Park in the Garden Route. Lots of tourists (it is a national park, after all - good to see it busy) but very beautiful! #southafrica
